Summer 2025 Growth Group!
Do you want to connect with God?
Are you tired of drifting?
Do you want to talk about your faith with sincere disciples of Jesus?
If you want to go deeper, we’re here for you.
In a Growth Group, you’ll join a small group focused on:
Wholehearted devotion to God
Spirit-led wisdom and maturity
Genuine love for one another
Deep study of the Scriptures
Discerning God’s will
Paradoxes of the Christian Life!
Our Summer 2025 Growth Group will engage with the challenging questions of our faith. For instance…
God is in control, but we’re responsible?
God speaks through the Scriptures, but how do we interpret it?
How can we have an authentic relationship with a holy God we must obey?
The goal? We will invite God to transform us as we get to know him more, support each other, pray together, and reflect on our lives in his loving presence.
Each week, you’ll get access to an in-depth lesson, a private community discussion, and a weekly Zoom meeting led by a trained facilitator.
Our lead facilitator for this summer is Blake Thompson, who served as the Vice Chair for Wheaton’s Graduate Student Council while completing his Master’s in Biblical Exegesis (May 2025 graduation).

Hear from Wendell
Wendell is an active member of Uncommon Pursuit’s community.
Now, his small group is using the Paradoxes of the Christian Life course for their weekly meetings. Here’s why:
What, When, Where, How
WHAT:
Uncommon Pursuit’s Growth Groups are designed for a small group of sincere Christians to learn how to grow as followers of Jesus.
Through in-depth Biblical study, a supportive peer community, and active discussions, we'll:
Sit in God’s presence
Meditate on the Scriptures
Deepen our capacity to imitate Jesus
It’s not designed to help you achieve something for God but to be more like Jesus.
It’s simple: if you're passionate about loving God and your neighbors, this experience is for you.
Need to miss a week (or two)? That’s ok, as long as you can attend at least ten meetings.
