Speaking Requests

Are you and your church tired of hype?

Do you wish someone would start a conversation about following Jesus that’s vulnerable, thoughtful, and still rooted in the Scriptures?

Carson doesn’t deliver polished lectures or polished keynote presentations.

Instead, he takes risks to explore the tensions that frustrate our relationship with God and why we struggle to love our neighbors.

Drawing on two decades of full-time ministry and his doctoral research on discipleship (in progress), he wants to help his brothers and sisters in Christ move beyond the limits of a passive faith.

Together, with God’s help, we can learn how to imitate Christ together.

Core Messages

Inefficient Faith. In this talk, Carson shares why true spirituality can never be packaged, scaled, or programmed. The life-giving ways of Jesus require a completely different orientation to life.

Honest Doubts. As a lifelong questioner, Carson has tested his faith with intellectual questions—and had his faith tested by spiritual abuse. How do we follow Jesus when the doubts never go away?

Following Jesus Together. How do we become like Jesus? In this talk or weekend experience, Carson shares the most valuable insights from his D.Min. research about how God grows us to spiritual maturity.
