Bible Studies For Friends Following Jesus

You know that following Jesus is better together.

We create studies that help you and your friends connect with God, understand the Scriptures, and discern what it looks like to be like Christ in real life.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Gather Your Friends

Invite two to five people you trust to start a weekly Bible study.

2. Pick a Study

Choose one of our twelve Bible studies. They’re all designed for you and your friends to connect with God and his purposes.

3. Follow Jesus Together

Leave the prep work to us so you can focus on knowing God, encouraging your friends, and following Jesus together.

WHAT YOU’LL GET

Bible Studies Designed for Friends

Our studies aren’t lectures to study or feel-good vibes. They’re conversations that connect your group to God’s love in your lives.

At each meeting, you’ll…

  • Read Scripture together

  • Talk honestly about real struggles

  • Discern who Jesus is inviting you to be

  • Support each other in living out your faith

They’re Biblical, relational, and practical guides for imitating Christ together.

12 Steps to God has impacted by spiritual growth by providing a personal and insightful roadmap to understand God, the Word, and how the Holy Spirit invites me to respond. The course has helped me to be more aware of how God is moving in my life while highlighting my own failed attempts at self-help. ABOUT CARSON

Since I was a young kid, I’ve been trying to follow Jesus with my friends. This led me into over twenty years of full-time ministry, from serving Jesus with college students to working for a global nonprofit.

But no matter what environment I was in, I found that God works in the simple, ordinary, and quiet ways. It’s having friends you can call at 2am because you’ve gotten really real with each other, and helped each other do what Jesus says, especially when it’s hard.

I created Uncommon Pursuit to give friends the tools they need to do this well. No celebrity pastors, just solid Bible studies that help you follow Jesus together.

I live in Atlanta with my wife and kids. I facilitate a group at my church, and I'm finishing my Doctorate of Ministry (D.Min.) at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

FOR THE CHURCH

For churches that want to build a culture of friends following Jesus together, we offer group discounts, small group leader training, and implementation support.
