Hey, I’m Carson
I feel like I’ve made every mistake you can with God: I’ve been legalistic, passive, skeptical, sinful, and burnt out. And I’ve endured spiritual abuse and disillusionment.
Yet somehow, I’ve continued to experience that God loves me. I’ve learned that knowing how to pray to God, no matter what I’m feeling, is essential to grow from a performance-based religion into a close friendship with God.
I’ve earned an M.Div. degree at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and am studying for a D.Min. degree at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
I served hundreds of students in campus ministry for ten years, including seven years at Harvard College.
When I worked at RZIM, I founded and developed an online community that hundreds of thousands of people visited to find answers to their questions about Jesus. In January 2021, I resigned to advocate for survivors.
