How many times have you tried to grow as a Christian but given up in frustration?
Have you ever felt like reading the Bible is a useless chore?
Do you feel more like a hypocrite than a follower of Jesus?
If this sounds familiar, youβre not alone.
Weβre all struggling to be close to God.
Our lives are hectic. Going to church can be complicated. Imitating Jesus is a high bar.
Yet weβve felt the emptiness and loneliness of attempting life without God.
Instead of trying to figure out faith by ourselves, we need to learn the trusted pathways that God has provided for us to know him.
Your life with God is not a game of Hide and Seek.
God is inviting you to live in his loving presence.
Itβs time to stop guessing and start practicing the time-tested wisdom of how we grow to be like Jesus.
Itβs a series of Christian Bible study lessons that will connect your heart with Godβs care for you.
Paradoxes of the Christian Life is a life-giving, actionable Bible study guide to help you know how to develop a strong faith. In this online Bible study guide, youβll learn how to pray to God, get completely free Bible study lessons, and learn the habits of mature disciples of Jesus.
And you donβt have to read it alone.
Youβre invited to join a global community of active Christians where you can ask unlimited questions, join weekly Bible studies, share prayer requests, and get practical training.
Itβs the training and the community you need to be a Christian β or a Christian leader.
Hey, Iβm Carson
I feel like Iβve made every mistake you can with God: Iβve been legalistic, passive, skeptical, sinful, and burnt out. And Iβve endured spiritual abuse and disillusionment.
Yet somehow, Iβve continued to experience that God loves me. Iβve learned that knowing how to pray to God, no matter what Iβm feeling, is essential to grow from a performance-based religion into a close friendship with God.
Iβve earned an M.Div. degree at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and am studying for a D.Min. degree at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
I served hundreds of students in campus ministry for ten years, including seven years at Harvard College.
When I worked at RZIM, I founded and developed an online community that hundreds of thousands of people visited to find answers to their questions about Jesus. In January 2021, I resigned to advocate for survivors.
Since launching Uncommon Pursuit in November 2021, thousands of struggling and thriving Christians β from around the world β have taken our free Bible study lessons and downloaded our online Bible study guides to grow into strong Christians.
Do you want to become a strong Christian? Sign up for The Uncommon Pursuit Academy today and start growing with us!
I have every confidence that Uncommon Pursuit will be a blessing to people who are seeking to understand Christian faith more deeply and desiring to live it out more fully.
