I am both a life-long skeptic and a relentless idealist.

Most days, I feel that God absolutely loves me, and this fills me with joy to worship him and serve others.

At my lowest moments, I wrestle with persistent doubts and traumatic memories of spiritual abuse.

I'm grateful for both the highs and the lows because they've taught me that I need to rely on God. In facing my own struggles, I've become tender and empathetic for others who struggle.

I also yearn to know what's true, so I constantly study. Whether that's in a formal academic program, like the M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell or the D.Min. I'm enrolled in at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, reading a book, or listening to a friend with an open heart, I'm always searching to understand how God is at work in our lives.

During my ten years in campus ministry, including seven years at Harvard College, I had the opportunity to support hundreds of students in their spiritual growth. When I worked at RZIM, I founded and developed an online community that reached hundreds of thousands of people seeking answers about Jesus. But in January 2021, I made the difficult decision to resign from this ministry in order to advocate for survivors of Ravi's abuse.

With the support of an incredible Board of Directors, we launched Uncommon Pursuit in November 2021.

We're all spending more time online. It's a space where it's sometimes safer to explore and ask questions than it is in person. Through this platform, I've had the honor of connecting with thousands of Christians worldwide, providing courses and books that support a deeper connection with God.

I love to hear the stories of Uncommon Pursuit's Community Partners - it brings me joy to see my friends living a more authentic, fulfilling life with God.

I hope you'll join us, too.
